Janis Marie Stidham, 70, of Lucasville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born on November 8, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Orville and Isoline Jones Stidam.

Janis was a former aide at Kettering Medical Center and an artist.

In October, 2006, Shirley Anderson left her home near Erie, Pennsylvania, to live with her daughter, Gail Lincoln, in Rowan County.  Shirley had experienced a life-threatening fall and spent days on life support followed by a month in an Erie rehabilitation facility.  Clearly she could no longer live alone.
