Michelle Slone

Michelle Lynn Slone, 47, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at St. Claire HealthCare.

She was born on September 9, 1972 in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Edward and Amanda DeHart Slone.

Michelle had been a cook in the Rowan County and Elliott County School Systems.

She was a member of Sharkey Baptist Church.

Michelle loved her dogs and she liked to cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Karen DeHart.

Survivors include her companion, Jamie Williams of Morehead, two sons, Bobby Ray Howard and his wife, Vanessa and Dustin Ryan Howard all of Sandy Hook, one daughter, Kelly Nicole Hale and her husband, Roy of Rush, Kentucky, father of her children, Bobby Howard of Sandy Hook, three brothers, Donnie Slone, Robert Slone and Roy Slone all of Morehead, four sisters, Barb Mabry of Lexington, Geraldine Lowe and Patricia Johnson both of Morehead and Bernice Willoughby of Elliott County, four grandchildren, Bryson Dale Howard, Easton Ray Howard, Lexie Gray Howard and Emma Grace Hale and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. and Rev. Elijah Sexton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Howard Cemetery in Elliott County.

Visitation is after 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Ray Howard, Dustin Howard, Roy Hale, Lonnie (“Dooley”) Endicott, Jamie Williams and Bobby Howard.
