Daniel Jimison, Sr.

Daniel David Jimison, Sr. 74 of Wallingford, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky after an extended illness. He was born April 19, 1947, in Fleming County, Kentucky to the late Dewey and Betty Tolle Jimison.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Thelma Pugh Jimison in 1996, brothers, Phillip Jimison and Raymond Timothy Jimison.

Daniel was a retired electrician and was of the United Church of God faith. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Jimison, II of Wallingford and Robert (Shonna) Jimison of Morehead. One daughter, Melissa Jimison of Wallingford. Four brothers, Stephen Jimison of Paducah, Kentucky, Josh Jimison of Cowan, Kentucky, Dewey Jeremiah Jimison of Ewing, Kentucky and John Troxwell of Cincinnati, Ohio. Three sisters, Verlene McClurg of Lexington, Kentucky, Rachel Bradford of Paducah and Betty Pugh of Wallingford.

Also, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday at the Wooley Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead, Kentucky is from 1:00 pm until 1:30 pm Sunday.

Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
