Brenda Roe

Brenda K. Hicks Roe, 64, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

She was born on September 23, 1957 in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of Janet Parker Hicks of Mansfield, Ohio and the late Dallas Hicks.

Brenda had worked as a dietary aide at Life Care Center of Morehead and she had also been a greeter at Wal-Mart.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Ellie Parker.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her daughter, Jamie Dragoo of Olive Hill, Kentucky, one brother, Bobby Hicks (Sharon) of Mobile, Alabama, two sisters, Barb Brady (Jerry) of Mansfield, Ohio and Helen Stidam (Rex) of Shelby, Ohio, her granddaughter, Haylee Dragoo and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Von Thornsberry officiating.

Burial will follow in the Perrys Branch Cemetery in Olive Hill.

Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
