Mrs. Zonie Perry Jennings, Age 74 of Clearfield, passed away Saturday evening at her home after an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Jennings was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on July 18, 1940 to the late Dexter and Alice Hampton Perry.
She was a homemaker, christian and enjoyed watching the WLJC broadcast, being outside, birdwatching and was an avid UK Wildcat basketball fan.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Jennings on July 5, 1975 and one son Roger Jennings.
Surviving are three sons, Larry Eugene Jennings, Delbert Lee Jennings and Roderick Perry all of Morehead. Two daughters, Jackie Kidd and Barbara Rogers both of Clearfield.
Five brothers, Victor Perry, Arlie Perry , Oliver Perry and Paul Ray Perry all of Morehead and Hank Perry of Lenox, Michigan.
Two sisters, Geraldine Perry and Dorothy McKinney both of Morehead.
12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Bro. Jim Porter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jennings Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 5:00 P.M Tuesday.
Serving as Pall Bearers will be Albert Kidd, Rocky Kidd, Doug Thornsberry, David Sloan, Brian Middleton and Jeremy Jennings.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Larry Jennings, Dale Jennings, Rick Perry and Billy Joe Kidd.
