William Stidam

September 21, 1938 — December 22, 2016

Mr. William Howard Stidam, 78 of Morehead, passed away Thursday evening, December 22, 2016 at his home after an illness of several weeks.

William was born in Morehead, Kentucky on September 21, 1938 the son of the late Everett and Cora Hicks Stidam.

He was a retired truck driver who had many hobbies, such as listening to music, playing cards with friends, watching television, and playing guitar. William also enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was of the Church of God faith.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Dewayne Stidam, one daughter, Kennietha Gail Barnett, and one brother, Kenneth Stidam.

Survivors include his wife, Cloie “ Bobbie” Maggard Stidam of Morehead, Two sons, Johnnie Stidam and wife Rhonda, and Glennis Lowe both of Morehead. Four daughters, Luglenda Sue McClain and husband Paul of Morehead, Donna Johnson and husband Jess of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Melissa Stevens and her husband Ira of Morehead.

Three brothers, Charles Edward Stidam of Spokane, WA, Marvin Stidam of Clearfield, Ky and David Stidam of Chillicothe, Ohio.

Six sisters, Rose Mlay of Ashland, Ohio, Betty Reed of Wichita Kansas, Carolyn Kline also of Ashland, Ohio, Linda Reed of Plymouth Ohio, Martha Demuth and husband Bill of Shelby, Ohio, and Joann Frank also of Shelby, Ohio.

Survivors also include fourteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 26, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after noon Monday until the time of service.
