Mrs. Vickie Lynn Roberts Conn, 56, of Morehead, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She was born on February 12, 1957, in Menifee County, Kentucky, a daughter of Shirley Sorrell Roberts and the late James Leon Roberts.

Vickie was a former employee of The Morehead News, where she was the advertising manager. She was also a former employee of the Rowan County Attorney's Office.

Vickie was a member of the Big Woods Community Church in Wellington. She was a 1975 graduate of Rowan County High School and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Conn, who passed away on June 7, 2001.

Survivors include her son, Blake Tyler Conn of Morehead, her mother, Shirley Sorrell Roberts of Morehead, her brother, James Marvin Roberts of Morehead, her sister, Vera Gregory of Morehead, her mother-in-law, Allene Porter Conn of Morehead, niece, Erica (Mike) Dougherty, nephew, Justin Gregory, great-nephew, Kyler Dougherty, sister-in-law, Kathy (Larry) Cooper and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 7, 2013 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Jess Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Willie Roberts, Mike Staton, Oscar Brewer, Mark Nickell, Scott Lovelace, Bruce Adkins, Kevin Sorrells and Rob Ginter.
