Mrs. Tonia Benae Lewis, 44, of Hogtown Cemetery Road, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She was born on February 26, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Sonny Neal Conn and Clara Bowman Conn.

Mrs. Lewis was Associate Director for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs at Morehead State University. She was a member of the Dry Branch Church of God and a graduate of Rowan County High School and Morehead State University. Tonia was active with the Rowan County Soccer Boosters, she loved doing crafts, landscaping, animals, collecting Matthew Boyd's Bears and most of all she loved sports, especially watching her children participate in them.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Lewis, one son, Matthew Lewis and one daughter, Kara Lewis both at home, her parents, Sonny and Clara Conn of Morehead, one brother, Stephen (Lisa) Conn of Richmond, one uncle, Tony Conn of Independence, Missouri, four aunts, Peggy Nowlin of Harlingen, Texas, Lucille Stevens of Lowell, Indiana, Lee Wheeldon of Lafayette, Indiana and Louise Larsen of Muncie, Indiana and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 6, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Brother Gayle Price and Harold Ashcraft officiating.

Burial will follow in the Williams-Turner Cemetery at Elliottville.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday and anytime Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Price, David Price, Darrell Price, Mark Cline, Harold Ashcraft and Brandon Cosby and honorary pallbearers will be Larry Dixon, Ted Trent, Kent Freeland, David Barnett, Claude Turner and Dave Cosby.
