Thelma Gregory

Mrs. Thelma Marie Stidam Gregory, 84, of Crestline, Ohio, passed away in Morehead, Kentucky on Friday morning, May 1, 2015 at the home of her niece, Pat Littleton, who cared for her in her final days.

She was born on April 27, 1931 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late William Cornelius Stidam and Grace Hicks Stidam.

Mrs. Gregory was a retired inspector for Tech Form Industries in Shelby, Ohio, where she worked for over 30 years.  She was a very devoted employee, only missing one day of work.

Thelma attended the First Apostolic Church, Crestline, Ohio.  She enjoyed quilting, working puzzles, doing word search, gardening, working in flowers, reading, listening to gospel music and watching her grandkids play ball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clifton Gregory, who passed away on December 20, 1994, an infant daughter, Cathy Jean Gregory, two brothers, Zanie Wright and infant, Hobart Stidam and two grandsons, Jason Aaron Gregory and Tyler Austin Gregory.

Survivors include her son, James Danny Gregory of Crestline, Ohio, one brother, Noah Everett Stidam of Morehead, Kentucky, two grandchildren, James Shannon (Heather) Gregory and Danielle Gregory, eight great-grandchildren, Kayla, Zach, Austin, Brooklyn, Morgan, Lance, Jessica and Kindsey Rae, special friend, Barbara Moyer of Crestline, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby, Ohio officiated by Bill Horning and reading of the obituary and remarks by Philip Littleton.

Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Crestline, Ohio.

Visitation is from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead and from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby, Ohio.

Pallbearers will be Danny Gregory, Shannon Gregory, Zach Gregory, Austin Gregory, Lance Gregory, Noah Stidam, Sam Apgar and Philip Littleton.
