Sally Caudill Netherly

Sally Caudill Netherly, 73, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at St. Clarie Healthcare in Morehead.

She was born October 5, 1950 in Rowan County, Kentucky, to the late Kenneth Caudill and Audra Mae Puckett Caudill.

Sally dedicated over thirty years of service at the Life Care Center in Morehead, where she touched so many lives. She volunteered for the Johnson First Church of God food pantry, RSVP, and anywhere she was needed including her own church. 

She was very active in her community; she helped with the American Red Cross; was an election officer for many years, and helped distribute commodities to families in the area.  She was a member of the Morehead First Church of the Nazarene.

Sally enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, working in her garden, volunteering, but most of all she cherished the time she got to spend with her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Caudill, Alta Spurlock, and Effie Caudill.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Bradley and Robin Netherly both of Morehead; one brother, Kenneth Ray Caudill of Morehead; four grandchildren, Makala Bradley, Tyler Lambert, Volicity Skaggs and Jared Bradley; two nieces, Ruby Leanna Turner and Tammy Spurlock; and several extended family and friends and her church family.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 5, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Larry Compton officiating.

Sally will be laid to rest in the Hogtown Cemetery at Elliottville.

Visitation will be after 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. 

Casket bearers will be Jared Bradley, Zac Abernathy, Eugene Kelsey, Tyler Lambert, Brian Middleton, and Willie Scott.

Honorary casket bearers will be Kenneth Ray Caudill and Estill Crisp.
