Roy Lee Bradley, 81, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at UK-St. Claire HealthCare.
He was born on January 16, 1944 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Richmond and Flora Whisman Bradley.
Roy was a carpenter, who was known for building furniture, swings and barns.
He was of the Primitive Baptist faith and enjoyed woodworking, studying the Bible, and watching “Ice Road Truckers” and Old Time Westerns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Crawford Bradley, who passed away on June 15, 2012, one daughter, Angela Lee Bradley, three brothers, Dale Bradley, John Paul Bradley and Jackie Bradley and two sisters, Jana Burton and Rosetta Burton.
Survivors include one son, Anthony Bradley of Morehead, one daughter, Sherri Bradley (Jason Guilmain) of Louisville, Kentucky, three brothers, Glennis Bradley of Continental, Ohio, Landon Bradley of Owingsville, Kentucky and David Bradley of Morehead, one sister, Cora Sparks of Morehead, one grandson, Anthony “Tony” Bradley of Clearfield, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 3, 2025 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Bobby Tackett officiating.
Burial will follow in the Whisman Cemetery.
Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Guilmain, Jason Bradley, Donnie Bradley, Cory Petronella, Darren Blevins and Tyler Blevins.
Following the burial, the family will gather at the Family of God Baptist Church at 100 Poplar Lane in Morehead for a time of fellowship and food.
