Requa Jean Cline, 75 of Morehead, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 25, 1940 in Lexington, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Caudill Cline.
Ms. Cline was a retired schoolteacher, having taught Home Economics at Rowan County Senior High School for 27 years.
She was a member of the Haldeman Church of God, Rowan County Retired Teachers, Busy Bee Quilters, Rowan County Genealogy Club and Haldeman Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Jean was a graduate of Morehead State University and she enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, ceramics, genealogy and flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Irvin Ray Cline, who passed away on September 21, 1942.
Survivors include her sister, Reta Gilliam of Morehead, one niece, Maresa Foster of Morehead, one great-nephew, Logan Foster, one great-niece, Paige Foster and several cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Don Rivers and Rev. Lloyd Dean officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cranston Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Serving as Pall Bearers will be Jeff Parker, Dale Davis, Bruce Adkins, Logan Foster, David Chalupa, Larry Estep and Mike Gilliam.
Charitable contributions are suggested to the Haldeman Fire Department or to the Haldeman Church of God.
