Pauletta Mynhier Walters

Pauletta Mynhier Walters, 82 of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 11 , 2026, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

She was born on March 29, 1944 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Russell and Delphia Ison Mynhier.

Pauletta was a retired beautician.

She attended the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God and enjoyed quilting, working puzzles and working in flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Jo Hubbard Porter, a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Mynhier and five sisters, Josephine Mynhier, Jean Mynhier, Eula Dean Bathalter, Avanell Wright and Lavaughn Engle.

Survivors include her son, David Carpenter of Oklahoma, one brother, William Darrell Mynhier of Louisa, Kentucky, one sister, Mary Jo Thompson of Morehead, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1 P.M. Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Clearfield Cemetery with Mike Gray officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 12 Noon Monday.
