Mrs. Patsy Gray Harr, 84, of Morehead, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 in the Life Care Center after an extended illness.
She was born on May 22, 1927 in Fleming County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late John Harrison Gray and Hannah Evans Gray.
Mrs. Harr was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was very dedicated and supportive of her husband as he pastored the many churches in the area. Patsy was a member of the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God. She enjoyed cooking, babysitting and singing and listening to gospel music. Mrs. Harr traveled and sang with Harley and Mabel Johnson for many years as The Inspirational Trio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harold E. Harr, who passed away on January 23, 1997, two brothers, Roy Vaughn and Albert "Abby" Gray and one sister, Christine Clutch.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Rick Elam of Morehead, one grandson, Tyler Jay Harrison Elam and his fiancAC., Kelsie Witham, two sisters, Ruby Stacy of Fleming County and Marie Seyfert of Fort Wayne, Indiana and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Caldwell, Rev. Gary McQuain and Rev. Vernon Gross officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Jon Stacy, Steve Stacy, Daryl Stacy, Robert Beckett, Dustin Howard, Derek Howard, Matthew Armstrong and Bill Hurst.
