Mary Willis Hamm Stacy, age 92, passed away in the arms of Jesus on November 27,  2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the home of her daughter, Dinah Wright.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Willie Stacy in 2012.  Mary was of the Apostolic faith and attended New Life Church when in Colorado and Seven Hills Church when in Kentucky.  Even during her long illness, Mary remained steadfast in her faith and a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Mary was a hard-working woman who raised four children, helped on the family farm, canned food and worked for many years in a shoe factory and sewing factory.  She then retired after working more than 27 years at Morehead State University.  Mary contributed many hours volunteering at the churches she attended over the years, including serving as a Sunday school teacher, church secretary, cleaning in the church and making numerous delicious treats to sell as fund raising for those churches.  Her work ethics and honesty remain a beacon for those following after her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie R. Hamm and Maudie Jane Hamm, three brothers, Johnnie Hamm, Eddie Hamm and Eugene Hamm and one sister, Lillie Hamm Gibson.  She is survived by a sister, Drema Sue Jones from McClure, Ohio, a brother, James Russell Hamm (Barbara) of Custar, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary is survived by two sons, Willie Clifford Stacey (Connie), Ronnie Wilford Stacey (Peggy), two daughters, Dinah Stacy Wright (Warren) and Mary Jane Stacy Crank (Rick), nine grandchildren, Craig Stacey (Rebecca), Kevin Stacey (Sally), Jenny Price (Bobby), Tiffany Vaughn (Nick), Matthew Stacey (Lesleigh), Christina Contreras (Vic), Alexis Wright, Lois Mayer (Brad) and Michael Wright, and sixteen great-grandchildren, Ava and Lila Stacey; Auston, Kobey and Skylar Price; Connor, Ryan, Jack and Lucas Stacey; Makenzie, Kennedy, Graham and Bodie Stacey, and Bruce, William and Thomas Mayer.
