Mary Stacy

Mary Jo Davis Stacy, 53, of Island Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home.

She was born on January 22, 1968 in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Markus Logan Davis and Betty Jo Layne Davis.

Mary was a homemaker and she enjoyed decorating, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mitch Layne and Thomas Logan Davis, one sister, Victoria Lynn Davis and one nephew, Mitchell Layne.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Stacy, two sons, Zachary Adam Stacy (Kandi) and Jesse Tyler Stacy (Brandi Hall) all of Morehead, one daughter, Kayla Gail Wallace (Conner) of Morehead, four sisters, Judy Cooper (Tommy), Rosie Bates, Kimberly Wallace and Jamie Perry (Derrick) all of Morehead, three grandchildren, Chloe Stacy, Autumn Harlow Stacy and Jazlyn Stacy and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Private family funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Cecil Ison officiating.

Burial will follow in the Whisman Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bob Stacy, Edd Stacy, Brandon Stacy, Tommy Cooper, Hattie Little and Derrick Perry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Conner Skaggs and Wendell Holbrook.
