Mary Johnson

Mary Claire Prather Johnson, 57, of Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her home.

She was born on March 7, 1961 in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Grover and Lodusta Keeton Prather.

Mary was a homemaker and had been baptized at the Sharkey Freewill Baptist Church.

She enjoyed watching religious programs on television and loved dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Rickey Johnson, two sons, Toby Johnson and Shane Johnson both of Hillsboro, one grandson, Cory Taylor Johnson, four brothers, Charlie Prather and Doug Prather both of Morehead, Perry Prather of Farmers and Jack Stevens of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Thursday, May 10, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.

Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
