Mrs. Mary Louise Davidson Dennis, 82, of West Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the St. Joseph Hospital, Mt. Sterling.
She was born on December 29, 1932 in Wheelwright, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Virgil and Myrtle Barger Davidson.
Mrs. Dennis was the owner and operator of the Pee Wee Shop in West Liberty for many years.
She was a member of the White Oak Christian Church and she enjoyed bowling, playing rook, gardening and flowers.
A long-time resident of West Liberty, Mrs. Dennis had resided at the Cave Run Manor in Farmers for the last 6 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Deward Clay Dennis, Jr., who passed away on April 8, 2006, two sons, Randall Clay Dennis and Steven Dale Dennis, two brothers, Virgil Davidson and Junior Davidson and four sisters, Verna Bea King, Audrey Roy, Barbara Hoover and Betty Ruth Cordray.
Survivors include one son, Craig Davidson (Amanda) Dennis of Morehead, one brother, R. V. Davidson of Pleasant Plain, Ohio and two granddaughters, Katie Dennis and Madison Dennis.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Patton-Dennis Cemetery in West Liberty with Pastor Grant Cannoy officiating.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Craig Dennis, Phil Spillman, James Sergent, Willie Barker, Jeff Stevens and Katie Dennis.
