Marvin Randall Caudill, 74 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1952, in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Dorothy Thurman Caudill. 

Marvin had worked several factory jobs including Nestle and A.O. Smith.  He was a member of the Johnson First Church of God, a graduate of Rowan County High school and was an avid UK basketball fan.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his son Marvin Randall ("Randy") Caudill II (Gabby) of Huntington, West Virginia and a daughter Melissa Kelley (Buck) of Catlettsburg, Kentucky. Two brothers, Dandell Caudill (Shirley) of Morehead, Johnny Caudill (Sherri) of Owingsville, Kentucky, four sisters, Judy Bott (Don) of St. Charles, Michigan, Phyllis Dunaway (J.P.) of Morehead, Connie Blair (Bobby, decd.) of Palm Coast, Florida and Kathy Estes (James) of Georgetown, Kentucky. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2026, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Ben Furman and Brother Mark Poston officiating.

Burial will follow in the Caudill Cemetery at Sharkey.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 12 Noon Friday.

Military rites will be performed immediately following the service at the funeral home by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. 

Pall bearers will be Mitchell Brown, Colby Wells, Austin Whitman, Jesse Roberts, Mike Butler and Jeremy Roberts. Honorary pall bearers will be Sean Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Steve Bumgardner, Zack Murray and Bowman Estes.
