Mark White

Mark Allen White, 52, of Morehead, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

He was born on March 13, 1965 in Morehead, Kentucky, a son of the late Bill L. White and Susan Davis White Wellinger.

Mark was a 1983 graduate of Rowan County Senior High School, where he played football.

He was a member of the Johnson First Church of God and enjoyed sports, especially UK Basketball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jim Claude Clay.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Reynolds White, whom he married on May 19, 2012, one daughter, Emily White of Morehead, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Ula Reynolds of Hillsboro, Kentucky, one brother, Larry (Joyce) White of Belmont, Mississippi, two sisters, Jill (Dan) Crawford of Georgetown, Kentucky and Linda Clay (Glen) Stephens of Hillsboro, Kentucky, four nephews, Jason White, Seth Clay, Sean Clay and Kendric White, one niece, Betsy Keating and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Richard Engle officiating.

Burial will follow in the Carey Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Reynolds, David Reynolds, Jason White, Tim Vice, Seth Clay, Sean Clay and Kendric White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ray White, David Patrick, Matt Sparks, Russell Reynolds, Joey White, Jim Tom Trent and Rick Hesterberg.
