Mamie Everman Jones, 80, of Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She was born on February 21, 1931 in Montgomery County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Elmer Lee Highley and Bertie Bell Setters Highley.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a former employee of Green's Restaurant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, Elvis Presley music, was a fan of Bill Kelley, Elvis impersonator and was a member of the Bill Kelley Fan Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin Kim Jones, who passed away in 2002 and one sister, Dorothy Highley.

Survivors include one brother, Don Highley of Salt Lick, nieces and nephews, Cathy Ferguson of Salt Lick, Kacey Copher and her husband, Richard and children, Kelsey, Kennedy and Layton of Frenchburg, Brittany Caldwell and her husband, Jeff and children, Kamren, Ryan and Macie of Owingsville, Jarami Lewis and his wife, April and children, Shaddix and Marlee of Owingsville, Sunga Copher and his wife, Francine and children, Chrandra and Skylar of Mt. Sterling and Dean LeMay and his wife, Paula and children, Joe and Tosha of Salt Lick and a host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 24, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Midland.

Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Billy Jones, Jarrod Jones, Dale Back, Donnie Bartley, Brandon Bartley, Jeff Caldwell, Jarami Lewis, Joe LeMay and Sunga Copher.
