Lutie Fields

Mrs. Lutie Hall Butler Fields , Age 80 of Morehead passed away Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2014 at her home after an illness of several weeks.

She was born in the Hayes Crossing Community of Rowan County, Kentucky on April 20, 1934 to the late Floyd and Victoria Conley Hall.

Mrs. Fields was a retired Kentucky Department of Transportation employee and a member of the Flemingsburg Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Morehead State University and was very active in the Democratic Party. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, cooking, flowers, canning and quilting.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Ardry Kelly Butler and Darrell Fields. One sister, Geneva Humphries and seven brothers, Albert, Daniel, Homer, James, Charlie, Willie and Vonloy.

Survivors include Two sons, Ardry Keith Butler of Hillsboro, Kentucky and Michael Charles (Michele) Butler of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Four daughters, Victoria (John) Kittle, Jessie (Calvin) Conn and Beverly Powell of Morehead and Rhonda (Glen) Robinson of Hillsboro, Kentucky. Three brothers, Linville Hall of Colonial Heights, Virginia, Elder Enois Hall of Jenkins, Kentucky and Nathaniel Hall of Catlettsburg, Kentucky. Four sisters, Faye Littleton of Carlisle, Ohio, Judy Allen of Morehead, Kentucky, Donna Newsome of LaGrange, Kentucky and Lucy Johnson of Bloomingdale, Georgia.

Twelve grandchildren, Fifteen Great-Grandchildren and Two Great-Great-Grandchildren. Also, several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Elder Enois Hall and Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hayes Crossing Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home is after 5:00 P.M. Monday.

Grandsons will serve as Pall Bearers.
