Loyd Donathan
February 4, 1946 — January 26, 2016
Loyd Henry Donathan, 69, of Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at his home.
He was born on February 4, 1946 in Menifee County, Kentucky, a son of the late John Henry Donathan and Dora Louise Donathan Alfrey.
Loyd had been a sawmill worker, carpenter and a farmer.
He was of the Church of God Faith and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching wrestling and listening to Bluegrass music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Brandy Hall Donathan.
Survivors include two sons, John David (Audrey) Donathan and Loyd Lee Donathan all of Clearfield, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 31, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.
Burial will follow in the Ginter Cemetery in Menifee County.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
