Lisa Ann (Swafford) Howard, 56, of Anderson, Indiana passed away, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on January 3, 1955 in Anderson.
Lisa was a dog breeder and had previously been a nurse.
Lisa was a member of 4-H. She was active in showing her dogs and received an award from the AKC for being one of the top breeders of German Shephard Dogs.
She is survived by her son, Sean Jacob Upshaw; husband, Gary Johnson; children, Gary Conn II, Johnnie Robertson (Angie), Angel Alfrey (Ed Mehling) and Jamie Conn (Christina); grandchildren, Shawn Shirley, Amy Robertson, John White, Catida White, Michael Jackson, Timothy Jackson, Kayle Alfrey, Tomi Alfrey, Sondra Brown, Dillon Conn, Jessica Conn, Gary Conn III, Dustin Conn, Jacob Conn, Tyler Conn, Zack Conn, and Jamie Conn; several great grandchildren; siblings, Jackie Gray (Dan) and Troy Swafford (Kim); several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess & Margaret Marie (Hacker) Swafford.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Johnson Cemetery off of Trent Ridge.
There is no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Kennel Club.
