Linda Kay Hall, 76, of Morehead, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born on November 7, 1944 in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Allie Roscoe Thomas and Goldie Williams Thomas.
Kay was a private housekeeper and a member of the Haldeman Church of God.
She was a good cook and she enjoyed watching Days of Our Lives, talking on the phone with her friends and family, spending time with her family and friends and sitting on the back porch visiting with her friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gene Hall, one son, David Hall, six brothers, Jimmie Thomas, Donnie Thomas, Billy Thomas, Gary Thomas, Bobby Thomas and Hobert “Buck” Thomas and five sisters, Ruby Stevens, Mildred Bailey, Juanita Lyons, Freda Thomas and Joann Day.
Survivors include one son, Donnie Hall (Sheila) of Paris, Tennessee, one daughter, Rhonda Hall Rose (John) of Morehead, one brother, Roger Thomas (Sarah) of Morehead, one sister, Wilma McKeown of Hammond, Indiana, three grandchildren, Austin Hall, Emily Hall and Abbey Williams (Andrew) and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 21, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Ron Clatos officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Sill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Rick Thomas, Eddie Davis, Darrell Davis, Jeff Stevens, Andrew Williams and John Rose.
Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Hall and Mason Davis.
Contributions are suggested to the Haldeman Church of God.
