Leonard Andrew Claypool, 77, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
He was born on September 13, 1944 in Danville, Illinois, a son of the late Charles Andrew Claypool and Mary Jane Wainwright Claypool.
Mr. Claypool was retired from General Motors and was a United States Army Veteran.
He was a member of the Little Mary Baptist Church and he enjoyed NASCAR, taking care of his yard and mowing.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Ranae Glover Claypool, one step-son, Steven Breeding of Indiana, three step-daughters, Pauletta Preston (Tim) of Defiance, Ohio and Angela Cottrell and Jessica Sanchez both of Bryan, Ohio, one sister, Wilma Prescott (Cal) of Whitefield, Maine, ten step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
