Kathy Leann Pool

Kathy Leann Mabry Pool, 43 of Clearfield, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at UK-Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born September 19, 1982, in Morehead, Kentucky to Louise Morris Mabry and the late Everett Mabry.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two infant sisters.

Kathy was a homemaker, but more importantly she was a devoted and caring mother. She enjoyed music, reading, collecting crystals and was an avid animal lover. She was a member of the Sharkey Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Matthew Pool, her mother Louise Morris Maby of Wallingford, Kentucky. Six children, Isaac Watson of Wallingford, Max Allen Pool, Eli Matthew Pool, twins, Zoe Leann Pool and Ava Marie Pool and Mia Grace Pool. Her Godmother, Betty Brown of Winchester, Kentucky. Also, many special friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 12, 2026, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr. and Pastor Elijah Sexton officiating.

Kathy will be laid to rest in the Crix Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 11:00 A.M. Thursday.

Pall bearers will be Isaac Lee Watson, Brian Chase Watson, Larry Thomas, Rufus Williams, Shane Abbott and Brittany Goodman.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly ask that contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
