Katherine Rader

Katherine Rae Sturgill Rader, 92, of Vandalia, Ohio, formerly of Haldeman, Kentucky, passed away August 20, 2015 at Hospice of Troy in Troy, Ohio.
She was born on August 19, 1923 in Haldeman, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Marion and Dovie Sparkman Sturgill.
Katherine was retired from the A.O. Smith factory in Tipp City, Ohio, where she spent many years. After retiring, she worked at the Vandalia Coin Laundry Mat.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Franklin, Louise Eldridge and Vernon Lou Sturgill and her brother Edgar Sturgill.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Lee Rader and Terry Lynn Rader and one daughter, Karla (Edd) Randell all of Ohio and six grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Mabry Hill Cemetery (U.S. 60 East, Morehead) with Brother Don Rivers officiating.
There is no visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Michael R. Gray Funeral in Morehead.
