Judy Ann Fraley Murphy Wallace, 71, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born on December 1, 1944 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Roy Edward Fraley and Oma Whisman Fraley.

Judy retired as head cook of the Rowan County School System and she had also cooked for the First Baptist Church Wednesday night fellowship dinners.

She was a member of the Rock Fork Christian Church and enjoyed Facebook, cooking for her family, canning and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Murphy and one son, William Edward Murphy, Jr.

Survivors include two sons, Linvil Ray (Tabitha) Wallace of Olive Hill and Roy Vencil (Kandace) Wallace of Lancaster, two daughters, Naomi “Susie” (Dwight) Perkins of Clearfield and Billie Ann (Anthony) Lang of Maysville, seventeen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Phyllis Caskey of Morehead, two uncles, Joe Fraley and David (Mervin) Fraley and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Butch Kelsey and Rob Sweeney officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hogge Cemetery at Cranston.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
