Juanita Blair

Juanita Blair, Age 81 of South Willow Drive, Morehead, passed away Thursday morning, February 24, 2011 in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on February 17, 1930 to the late David and Gladys McKenzie Blair.

Juanita was a well know author, historian and genealogist. She enjoyed animals, especially dogs, and collecting guns and knives. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the D.A.R. She was also a former member of the historical society.

Juanita owned and operated Pioneer Printing in Morehead for many years.

Survivors include two sisters; Jeri Fultz of Morehead and Jenalee Whitaker of Grayson, Kentucky and one brother, Glennis D. Blair and his wife Kathryn of Kettering, Ohio.

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss her too. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Caudill Cemetery in Morehead.

Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. Sunday.
