Mr. Joyner Robert "Bob" Dameron, 83, of Farmers, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

He was born on December 21, 1928 in Bath County, Kentucky, a son of the late Homer Berry Dameron and Belva Adams Dameron.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Homer Berry Dameron and an infant sister, Jewell Dameron.

Mr. Dameron was a retired pipefitter and United States Army Veteran having served during World War II. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 248 in Ashland and a Charter Member of the Pipeline Welders Local 798. Mr. Dameron was a member of the Salt Lick Christian Church and the Phelps Masonic Lodge No. 482, where he was a past master. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, recipient of the Rowan County Conservation Award and he enjoyed nature and being outdoors.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Dameron of Morehead and Bill (Pam) Dameron of Lebanon, Ohio, one daughter, Marsha (Doug) Hood of Winchester, special friend, Margaret Ring, one sister, Mary Grace Ponder of San Diego, California, six grandchildren, Christy Dameron, Kathryn (Jon) Snowden, Nathan Hood, Josh (Whitney) Hood, Mary Alice Dameron and Mark Dameron, one great-granddaughter, Bailey Anne Snowden and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Jones Cemetery at Midland, Kentucky with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.

Full military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Saturday at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home.

Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Saturday by the Phelps Masonic Lodge No. 482.

Pallbearers will be Bill Dameron, Robert Dameron, Doug Hood, Nathan Hood, Josh Hood, Mark Dameron, Jon Snowden and Randy Russell and honorary pallbearers will be Lee Russell, Gary Casper, Jimmy Epperhart and Jack Landreth.
