Jewell Fultz

Mrs. Jewell Dean Barker Fultz, 60, of Vincent Hollow, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky.

She was born in Lawton, Kentucky on May 21, 1950, a daughter of the late Arnel and Ruby Jeffery Barker.

Mrs. Fultz was a homemaker. She was a member of the Flat Fork Church of God and enjoyed raising flower gardens and vegetable gardens, and especially, spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Ray Barker and James Barker.

Survivors include her husband, Carl "Cob" Fultz, two sons, Joey Dean Fultz and his wife, Kristy of Olive Hill and Carl Ray Fultz and his wife, Serena of Sandy Hook, one daughter, Virginia Kay Fultz of Olive Hill, three step-children, James Darrell Fultz, Christopher David Fultz and Mary Ann Rayburn all of Olive Hill, four brothers, Daniel Barker of Morehead, Lester Barker and Homer Barker both of Olive Hill and Willard Barker of Mansfield, Ohio, seven sisters, Shelia Burton, Faye Roberts and Sue Simmons all of Olive Hill, Debbie Armstrong of Clearfield, Teresa Blevins of Hillsboro, Barbara Hall of Morehead and Judy Cox of Warren, Ohio, nineteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 4, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Delmar Logan, Jr. and Rev. Larry Hamm officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dean Cemetery in Carter County.

Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be James Fultz, Christopher Fultz, Charles Barker, Curtis Barker, David Stegall, Dana L. Fultz, Robert Blevins, Rodney Blevins and Larry Hamm.
