Jessie Faye Caudill Smith, 95 of Carey Cemetery Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday evening July 8, 2023 at her home. She was born June 25, 1928 in Price, Wisconsin one of fourteen children to the late Ora and Lynn Lambert Caudill.
Faye was retired from the Morehead Treatment Center where she had worked for many years.
She was a member of the End Time Harvest Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading her bible, going to church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Smith; one grandson, John Douglas Smith; three brothers and eight sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Billy (Cindy) Smith and Jim Smith all of Morehead and a daughter Kim (Tim) Garvin of Morehead; six grandchildren, Mark (Chinena) Smith, Robbie (Becca) Smith, Jordy (Mourine) Smith, Mindy Smith, Brittany (Michael) Bailey and Luke (Amanda) Garvin; one daughter-in-law, Jean Thompson Smith; two sisters, Virginia Keen and Bonnie Lewis both of Wisconsin; Thirteen great-grandchildren, Tommy Smith, Ashton Smith Shoemaker, Braden Smith, Haylee Smith, Dawson Smith, Bently Smith, Ashlee Smith, Cash Smith, Lilly Garvin, Sophia Smith, Case Garvin, Blair Bailey and Drew Bailey.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 12 ,2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Tracy Fannin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Carey Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 12 Noon Wednesday.
Casket Bearers will be Mark Smith, Robbie Smith, Jordy Smith, Tim Garvin, Luke Garvin, Braden Smith, Tommy Smith and Dawson Smith.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be her great-grandchildren.
