Jaxon Cole Keller made an undeniable impact on the lives of everyone he met throughout his journey in this world. Jaxon was born on February 18, 2009, in Morehead, Kentucky, to Joseph Keller of Toronto, Canada, and Nikki Naquin Keller of Morehead.

He had a carefree personality and enjoyed music, rapping, hanging out with friends, playing basketball, video games, building things, and spending time with his family. He appreciated the simplicity of life and lived it to the fullest.

Jaxon graduated from Rowan County Middle School and was a beloved student. He always put a smile on everyone's face with his contagious sense of humor. According to those who knew him well, he had an exceptional talent for making everyone laugh and was often the life of the party.

On May 27, 2023, Jaxon passed away unexpectedly at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sherry Mullins.

While we mourn Jaxon's death, we celebrate his remarkable life. His memories will remain forever etched in our hearts as we honor him as a son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend. We can take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place now.

A "Celebration of Life" ceremony with Michael Kash speaking will occur at Rowan County Senior High School on Wednesday,  May 31st at 8 PM to commemorate Jaxon's life. Everyone is welcome to be part of this event. The visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 on Wednesday at the Rowan County Senior High School. Immediately following the service everyone is invited to attend a candlelight vigil on the football field of the Rowan County Senior High School.

Jaxon is survived by his parents Joseph Keller and Nikki Naquin Keller; his brothers, Kamron "Pepe" Palacios and Jojo Keller; sisters Ceci Palacios , Olivia Keller and Sienna Hoskins-Anderson; Grandparents Rick and Elaine Keller of Hillsboro, Kentucky; Jerry and Willia Naquin Jr. from Morehead; Vaughda Wooten from Bulan; several Aunts Jenna & Michael Bryan , Sarah Wallace & Dougie and Tori Smedley; Uncle Trey Naquin and Ashley; Cousins Nathan Bryan, Logan Bryan, Ethan Bryan, Tyler Perkins, Katie Perkins, Aubrey Wallace, Emma Moore Braxton Sparks and Hunter Emmons. Great-grandparents Ruby and Carl Mullins of Morehead; Darlene Keller of Morehead.

Pall bearers will be Jojo Keller, Kamron "Pepe" Palacios, Connor Logan, Cameron Cross, Kimarion Hall, Tyler Perkins, Nathan Bryan and Logan Bryan. Honorary pall bearers will be Mason Terry, Ethan Bryan and Brayden Adkins.

Jaxon was a light in our lives that will never go out. His positivity and goofiness were infectious. Let us remember him for the amazing person he was and as a reminder to live our lives with enthusiasm and love, just as he did. Rest in peace Jaxon Cole Keller.
