James Calvert

Mr. James Alfred "Bear" Calvert, 65, of Hilltop Estates, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at his home.
He was born on June 25, 1945 in Grayson, Kentucky, a son of Phoeba Beatrice Rice Calvert and the late Thomas Asa Edward Calvert.
Mr. Calvert was a retired auto assembly technician for General Motors Corporation. He was a member of the Morehead First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and carpentry work.
Survivors include his wife, Etta Renner Calvert, his mother, Phoeba Beatrice Rice Calvert of Lebanon, Ohio, two sons, James M. Calvert and his wife, Jana D. of Smyrna, Tennessee and Douglas S. Calvert and his wife, Heidi of Lebanon, Ohio, two brothers, Thomas Calvert and Charles Calvert both of Lebanon, Ohio, one sister, Patty Ingram of Lebanon, Ohio, three grandchildren, Zachery N. Calvert, Jacob E. Calvert and Madalynn Calvert and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Morehead First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brian Farmer officiating.
Visitation is after 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.
Contributions are suggested to St. Claire Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
