Jack Goodpaster
March 8, 1941 — May 5, 2012
Mr. Jack Goodpaster, Age 71 of Morehead passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
He was born on March 8, 1941 in Bath County, Kentucky, a son of the late Espie "Buck" and Julie Purvis Goodpaster.
Jack was a former sawmill worker and he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Jesse Darlene Hyatt Goodpaster, his son, Jackie Preston Goodpaster, brother, Owen Goodpaster of Owingsville and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ellington Cemetery.
Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Brown, Gabe Brown, Tyler Brown, Arvil Brown, Fred Ellington, Leroy Hodges, Steve Hodges and Derrick Jones.
