Ina Stacy Plank

Ina Mae Whisman Stacy Plank, 81 of Island Fork Road, Morehead, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2015 at her home after an illness of several weeks. She was born November 27, 1934 in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Earnest and Shrilda Burton Whisman.

Besides her parent, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Walter C. Stacy and Luther Plank. Three brothers, Howard, James and David Whisman and three sisters, Mary Hamm, Helen Whisman and Carol Whisman and a half sister, Pearl Davis.

She was a member of the Wallingford Christian Church and enjoyed raising a garden, canning, quilting, ginseng and mushroom hunting and was known to be a good cook.

Survivors include five sons, Bobby Stacy and special friend Mae Hall, Larry Stacy, Eddie Stacy, David T. (Carrie) Stacy and Wendill (Mary Jo) Stacy all of Morehead.

Three brothers, Glen and Jackie Whisman of Morehead and Woodrow Whisman of Farmers, Kentucky. Two sisters, Juanita Sweeney of Georgetown, Kentucky and Bonnie Mason of Morehead, Kentucky.

Nine Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren.

Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Tom Redmon and Rev. Cecil Ison officiating.

Burial will follow in the Whisman Family Cemetery on Island Fork Road.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 6:00 P.M. Monday.

Pall Bearers will be Zack Stacy, Jesse Stacy, Cody Stacy, Brandon Stacy, Beverly Stacy and Hobie Thompson.

Honorary Pall Bearers will be Brady Goodman, Shawn Wallace, Brian Stacy and Miranda Stacy.
