Helen Eldridge

Mrs. Helen Watson Eldridge, 79, of Morehead, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home.

She was born on April 10, 1940 in Clearfield, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ottis and Lissie Ison Watson.

Mrs. Eldridge was a homemaker.  Her family was her world; she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking, reading and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Eldridge, Jr., who passed away on September 14, 2016, daughter-in-law, Tena Eldridge, five brothers, Lawrence Watson, Ishmael Watson, John Watson, Everett Watson and Bill Watson and one sister, Luna Marie Levitsky.

Survivors include two sons, Randy (Sandy) Eldridge of Morehead and Mark Eldridge of Elliott County, two daughters, Dana Crose of Clearfield and Jennifer Forman of Morehead, one brother, Paul (Jeanette) Watson of Taylorsville, Kentucky, two sisters, Leona Pearl Frieszell of Dayton, Ohio and Mary Adamson of West Union, Ohio, five grandchildren, Dustin, Hannah, Hope, Emily and Jacob, two great-grandchildren, Aidan and Amy and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 13, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor James DeAtley and Pastor Jared DeAtley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Caudill Cemetery at Sharkey.

Visitation is after 12 Noon Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
