Hazel Brammer

Mrs. Hazel Cox Porter Williams Brammer, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

She was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on March 14, 1924, a daughter of the late James Edward Cox and Mary Ellen Conn Cox.

Mrs. Brammer was a retired schoolteacher having taught in the Rowan County School System for 27 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three husbands, Arthur Porter, Don Williams and James Brammer, her son, Michael Porter, four brothers, Elijah Cox, Johnny Cox, Orville Cox and Arlen Cox and three sisters, Arminta Binion, Olive Parker and Feril Holbrook.

Survivors include one brother, Arthur Cox of Morehead, two sisters, Eunice Dubuisson of Pennsylvania and Goldia Richardson of Ohio and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There is no visitation or services.
