Glennis Ray (“Butch”) Lowe, 68, of Morehead, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, September 19, 2025 at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

He arrived on December 30, 1956 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late William Glennis Lowe and Cloie Sue Maggard Stidam.

Butch was a retired bridge construction worker.

He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and collecting old die cast cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, William Howard Stidam and siblings, Kennietha Lowe Barnett and Dwayne E. Stidam.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Harris Lowe, children, Nicole Marie Lowe Brooks, Tenaya Sue Lowe Brown, Sunny Ray Lowe Garrett and Jessica Ray Makowski, step-children, Mark Adkins, Shane Adkins, Kelli Adkins Baber and Ceara Adkins Goodpaster, siblings, Luglenda Sue Lowe McClain, John Stidam, Donna Stidam Johnson, Minnie Lowe Arnett and William Shane Lowe, thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no service or visitation.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home at 808 Old Flemingsburg Road in Morehead is caring for all arrangements for Glennis Ray (“Butch”) Lowe.
