Gina Mae Emberton Waltz, 47 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the home of her brother in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Gina was born February 22, 1979, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Ted and Wilma Dean Ferguson Emberton. She was a graduate of Monroe County High School in Tompkinsville and Western Kentucky University where she earned a degree in occupational health and safety. She had worked with several national corporations in the occupational health and safety field. In recent years she enjoyed a successful career with Pampered Chef, where she served as a director and took great pride in her work and the many friendships she made throughout the years. She also co-owned with her husband a fabrication and automotive shop (GTS). She was an active member of the Owingsville Church of Christ and had an unwavering love and faith in Jesus Christ.
Gina enjoyed cooking, crafting, decorating and made and decorated amazing cakes. She loved her husband, dogs and especially her grandchildren more than anything. She had a very generous and loving heart. She cared deeply for all her loved ones and spent most of her time planning special moments and comforting those around her including her mother and father who she provided for in their final years. Her generosity extended to many charitable organizations especially for the benefit of children and animals.
Survivors include her husband Tony Duane Waltz whom she married June 11, 2005, Three brothers, Greg (Shelly) Emberton of Whitney, Texas, Tony (Robbin) Emberton of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Doug (Ellen) Emberton of Coppars Cove, Texas. Her children, Jason (Alisha) Waltz and Casie (Justin) Morehouse all of Morehead. Her grandchildren: Colton Waltz, Shylee Waltz, Lucas Waltz, Wyatt Morehouse and Cody Morehouse.
Also, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Alton Norman officiating. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the hour of service on Wednesday.
An additional visitation will be held at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 12 Noon until 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Tompkinsville with Jason Page officiating.
Pall bearers will be Jason Waltz, Colton Waltz, Justin Morehouse, Greg Emberton, Tony Emberton and Doug Emberton.
The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is caring for all arrangements for Gina Emberton Waltz.
