Ernest Kidd

Mr. Ernest Leray Kidd, Age 59 of Morehead, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center after an apparent heart attack.

He was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on April 17, 1956 to the late Emerson Kidd and Medie Fultz Kidd.

He was a member of the Church of God and was  retired after 27 years as a sterlization specialist in the Surgical Procedure Department at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

Leray enjoyed reading, taking care of his yard, raising flowers, watching the birds, watching old westerns and forencis files on TV and especially spending time with his grandbabies.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Dale Kidd, nephew, Derrick Littleton, niece Miranda Collins and his grandparents, Dewey and Nellie Fultz and Luke and Ethel Kidd.

Survivors include three sisters, Deborah Littleton, Mary Patty (Wendell) Collins, Anna (Robbie) Graves all of Morehead. Nephews, Brian Littleton and Jason Littleton, nieces, Kimberly Collins and Rachael Collins. Great nieces and nephews, Taitum Littleton, Titus Littleton, Joslyn Clark, Lakota Clark and Jaxon Littleton. Also, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert D. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home is from 6-9 P.M. Tuesday.

Pall Bearers will be Rachael Collins, Brian Littleton, Jason Littleton, Wendell Collins, Robbie Graves and Cephie Littleton.

Honorary Bearers will be Kimberly Collins, Frankie Clark and Larry Littleton.
