Mrs. Elsie Hogge Littleton, 89 of Elizaville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011 in the Fleming County Hospital.

Mrs. Littleton was born in Rowan County on July 24, 1921, a daughter of the late Grover and Ollie Lewis Hogge.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Flemingsburg First United Methodist Church, attended New Creation Praise and Worship Center and had been a 4-H advisor. Mrs. Littleton enjoyed spending time with her family, loved to cook and make rolls and enjoyed gardening, working in flowers and canning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Littleton, who passed away in 1992, four brothers, Irvin Hogge, Elson Hogge, Ernest Hogge and James Hogge and one infant sister, Winnie May Hogge.

Survivors include two sons, Gary (Lavonda) Littleton of Amelia, Ohio and Darryl (Chris) Littleton of Cincinnati, Ohio, three daughters, Guyneth (Tom) Moore of Macon, Georgia, Gwendolyn (Kenny) McNeil of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Ardith (Anthony) Marshall of Flemingsburg, two brothers, Fred Hogge of Louisville and Myron Hogge of Ashland, one sister, Guyneth Lowe of Lancaster, South Carolina, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Flemingsburg First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Cain, David Eldridge and Rev. Lynn Beach officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hogge Cemetery at Cranston.

Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 10:00 A.M. Monday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Sandon Moore, Justin Littleton, Blake Littleton, Corbin Marshall, Anthony Bacigalupo, Chad Holst and Chris Crider.

Contributions are suggested to New Creation Praise and Worship Center or the Flemingsburg First United Methodist Church.
