Dr. K. Jones

Dr. K. E. Jones, Age 87 of Morehead, passed away Sunday morning in the Life Care Center after a long illness.
Dr. Jones was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on October 16, 1922 to the late Russell and Maude McMillan Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ernest Jones in 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Chilma Butcher Jones and his son Ken Jones both of Morehead. One sister, Vivian Thompson of Logan, West Virginia.
Dr. Jones was a retired chiropractor who had an office in Morehead for many years. He was a member of the Elliottville Baptist Church, a graduate of the Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis, Indiana and enjoyed tinkering with clocks. He was also a veteran of the Army Air Corps having served during the World War II era.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Brown Cemetery with Dr. Jack Ellis officiating.
There is no visitation.
