Dorothy Perry

Dorothy Mae Kelly Perry, 79, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, went home to be with our Lord, on Sunday morning, October 18, 2015 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She was born on May 19, 1936 in Clintwood, Virginia, a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Frances Fleming Kelly.

Mrs. Perry was a retired cook for the Taylor, Michigan school system.

She attended the Holly Fork Freewill Baptist Church.

Dorothy will be sadly missed by her husband, her son, her family, including her Holly Fork Church family and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry E. Kelly and Gary F. Kelly and a brother-in-law, Jim Farrell.

Survivors include her husband, Victor Perry, whom she married on November 30, 1957, one son, Rick Perry of Morehead, two brothers, Dennis P. (Brenda) Kelly of Virginia and Arthur Kelly, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri, four sisters, Mary K. Farrell, Joyce K. (William) Fore and Phylis K. (Donald) Thurman all of Virginia and Nancy K. (Billy) Wood of North Carolina, special friends, Donald and Diane Butler of Morehead, adopted grandchildren, Miranda Butler, Tyler Butler, Shawn Butler, Coda Butler, Krista Butler and Landen Butler and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 22, 2015 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Jim Porter, Brother Monroe Craig and Brother Lansford May officiating.

Burial will follow in the Perry Family Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Leadingham, Delbert Jennings, Rocky Kidd, Donald Butler, Matthew Gregory and Arlie Perry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Butler, Coda Butler and Tyler Butler.
