Donald Cecil Plumley, 62, of Patties Lick, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at his home.

He was born on November 9, 1949 in Three Rivers, Michigan, a son of the late Donald Charles Plumley and Inez Frances Conley Plumley.

Mr. Plumley was a retired truck driver for Caudill Seed Company, having retired on December 9, 2011. He was a former employee of Olive Hill Trucking and Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home. Donald was a United States Army Veteran having served during Vietnam. He was a member of the Elliottville Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Survivors include his wife, Deborrah Perry Plumley, whom he married on June 11, 1989, one son, Ray (Susan) Perry of Morehead, three daughters, Angel (Matthew) Harper of Pikeville, Ashley Plumley of Morehead and Deanna (Jason) Wade of Richmond, one brother, Alan Plumley of Hillsboro, Ohio, three sisters, Susan Kiley of Ripley, Ohio, Frances Compton of Deland, Florida and Roshella (Lee) Waddell of Morehead, eleven grandchildren, Kourtney, Kaytlinn, Hannah, Audrey, Shaeleigh, Khloe, Curtis, Austin W., Austin H., Lucas and Adam and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 3, 2012 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Willie Sturgill and Larry Robinson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fultz Cemetery in Carter County.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Ray Perry, Wayne Johnson, Gary Bond, Curtis Perry, Jason Wade, Wayne Jent, Austin Wade, Lee Waddell, Daniel Waddell and Sean Bond and honorary pallbearers will be Tim Bond, Tracy King, Tim Fultz, Allen Stone, Rod Lynch, Terry Fultz, Alan Plumley, Matthew Harper, Drew Hindbaugh and Allen Stevens.
