Donald Gene "Greasy", "Duke" Gregory, 65, of Morehead, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at his home.
He was born on March 26, 1948, in Clearfield, Kentucky, a son of Sylvia Brown Gregory and the late Jesse Denton Gregory.
Mr. Gregory was a retired logger and United States Army Veteran having served during Vietnam.
Donald was a Disabled American Veteran, a member of the American Legion and he enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Denton Gregory.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Sparkman, his mother, Sylvia Brown Gregory of Morehead, two step-daughters, Sueanna Alfrey and Roseanna Mabry both of Morehead, two brothers, Bobby Gregory and Ray Gregory both of Morehead, two sisters, Betty Howard and Odema Buckner both of Morehead, one step-grandchild, Tasha Alfrey, special niece, Kimberly Howard, special great-nephew, Logan Howard and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 24, 2013 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Kidd officiating.
Burial will follow in the Baldridge Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Logan Howard, William Smith, Dewayne Alfrey, Bobby Gregory, Ray Gregory and Harris Moore.
