Don Earley

December 18, 1932 — March 19, 2018

Mr. Don Earley, 85, of Clearfield, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday morning, March 19, 2018.

Born Jackie Don Earley on December 18, 1932 in Clearfield, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William Samuel Early and Mayme Cline Early.

Mr. Earley was a retired electrician and had also worked for Tennessee Gas Pipeline for 25 years.  He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.

He attended the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God.  Mr. Earley was a member of the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126, where he had served on the Honor Guard and he was also a member of The Forty and Eight.

Don was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing.  He traveled extensively, as well.  He was one of the few people, who visited all 50 states and he had also traveled abroad.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ferguson Earley, who passed away in 2002, two brothers, Ralph Early and Norton Earley and one sister, Maxine Milner.

Survivors include his three children, Jack (Sue) Earley of Rhode Island, Angie Earley of Florida and Dave (Crystal) Earley of Iowa, two grandsons, Quinn Earley and Travis Earley both of Rhode Island and nieces and nephews, Kay Earley, Garland Earley, Carl Early, Connie Early Bishop, Alice Kaplin, Pam Earley Zorens, Landra Rogers and Paula L. Pumplin.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the full military honors ceremony conducted by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126. at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead on April 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
