Della Lorraine Ferguson

Della Lorraine Ferguson, 61, of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the UK St. Claire Regional Medical Center.  She was born on September 3, 1964, in Louisa, Kentucky, to the late Delbert Hundley and Charlotte Wells Hundley.

Throughout her career, Della served as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Life Care Center in Morehead, where she was admired for her dedication and work ethic. 

Della cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her husband, Michael Ferguson, and their two sons, Michael Ferguson Jr. (Billy) of Lexington and Mason Delbert Ferguson of Morehead, her grandson, Mason Delbert Ferguson Jr. and her sister, Deborah Bowen (Danny) of Olive Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Delbert Hundley Jr. 

In her leisure time, Della engaged in various hobbies that brought her joy. She loved cooking and gardening, often sharing her delicious meals with family and friends. Shopping was another favorite pastime, allowing her to express her vibrant personality. Above all, Della treasured the moments spent with her grandchild, fostering a deep love and connection that will forever be remembered.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michael R Gray Funeral Home in Morehead. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Ferguson Cemetery in Dunlow, West Virginia.
