David Lee Stallard

David Lee Stallard, 49, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, was pronounced dead Saturday, September 12, 2026 in Olive Hill.

He was born on October 14, 1976 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of Raymond Lee Holbrook and the late Shirley Faye Stallard.

David was a certified carpenter with a gift for building anything he set his mind to — a true jack of all trades. He was a devoted family man who would do anything for those he loved. Known for his kindness and generosity, he was always ready to help others without hesitation. He had an infectious laugh that could fill any room, and it’s something those who knew him will never forget.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by son-in-law, Scotty Thompson, brother, Brandon Holbrook, stepfather, James David “Jimmy” Underwood, grandfather, Earl Elmo Stallard, grandmother, Mavis Missouri Cook Stallard Ingles, step-grandfather, James Underwood, brothers-in-law, Jeremy Dixon and Raymond Scott Boggs and uncle, Earl Dempsey Stallard.

Survivors include his father, Raymond Lee Holbrook (Rosie) of Olive Hill, one son, David Ray Stallard (Brianna Thurmer) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, two daughters, Whitney Stallard (Dustin Trusty) of Flemingsburg and Jasmine Stallard (Josh Jarvis) of Olive Hill, step-daughter, Kristen Fraley of Olive Hill, the mother of his children, Beatrice Stallard, one brother, Colby Holbrook of Olive Hill, three sisters, Kelly Dehart (Danny), Jennifer Dixon (Dan) and Joyce Stallard all of Olive Hill, brothers-in-law, Jonathan Mocabee and Dana Mocabee, five grandchildren, Lila, Elizabeth, Cheyanne, Milli and Alaina, his best friend since childhood, Angel Ramey and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are pending and will be announced later.

Burial will be in the Stallard Cemetery in Olive Hill.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Mocabee, Dana Mocabee, David Stallard, Danny Dehart, Shawn Underwood and Dustin Trusty.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Mocabee, Zack Mocabee and Gerald Mocabee.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home at 808 Old Flemingsburg Road in Morehead is caring for all arrangements for David Lee Stallard.
